Read positions literally
“To the left of” does not mean “immediately to the left of”. “Next to” means neighbouring plots. One plot between two plants means their plot numbers differ by two.

YOUR REASONING RECORD
SMALL RULES. STRONG REASONS.
“To the left of” does not mean “immediately to the left of”. “Next to” means neighbouring plots. One plot between two plants means their plot numbers differ by two.
Every row and every column has exactly one assignment. A plant placed in one plot cannot also grow in another. These all-different rules apply even when a clue does not repeat them.
A deduction is forced when every arrangement consistent with the clues and your marks agrees. Hints show the smallest set of clue cards needed alongside your existing marks and the one-per-plot rule.
A contradictory board means at least one mark must change. Undo removes your latest change. A check never silently repairs a mark; you remain in charge of the reasoning.
The workshop enumerates all 24 ways to place four different plants in four plots. It keeps only arrangements that satisfy the visible clues and your marks. It does not compare your clicks with a hidden answer key. Each original case has one solution under its published clues. This is a logic exercise, not gardening advice.
No account, timer or score pressure. Your current board is held in memory only. Print a fresh case or print your current marks to continue on paper.
